<text>The presentation section contains over 100 presentations
(HyperCard and Persuasion). PowerPoint and Persuasion presentations are available in 13" color and 9" B&W versions. The users are encouraged to modify and customize any presentations.
The PowerPoint and Persuasion presentations have been consistently formatted so that you can 'mix and match' slides while maintaining the Apple 'look and feel'.
Remember, the Library CD is a locked media. While the user can access and print the CD's contents, the user can not alter the materials while they remain on the CD.
To modify or customize presentations (or any contents), simply download materials (at the finder level) to a floppy disk or hard drive.</text>

To view/present Persuasion presentations, use the 'Slide Show' mode under the 'File' menu.
For PERSUASION presentations, click the mouse once to go forward, and double-click the mouse to go backward.
To quit 'Slide Show' mode, type 'Command-Period' and then press 'Cancel'.
Please Note: Slides that contain detailed graphics will take longer to bring up on the screen.
EXITING PRESENTATIONS:
To quit presentations, type 'Command-Q'.
If after exiting a presentation you return to a Home Stack instead of the presentation synopsis card, check to see if you have more than one Home Card or HyperCard application on your system. If so, remove all but one copy of each, remembering to keep the HyperCard application and Home card in the same folder and hierarchical level.

• The 'Map' button takes you to an overview of the CD's contents.
• The titles on the 'Map' are buttons; click them to go to that section of the CD.
• The words along the bottom of the screen are also buttons; click them to navigate through the CD.
GLOBAL BUTTONS:
Global command buttons are located in the lower left corner of the CD. Global navigation buttons are located in the lower right corner of the CD.These buttons are available throughout the The Apple Reference & Presentations Library CD stack. They are:
• QUIT: The user can 'Quit' at any point on the CD. Once quitting, you have the option of remaining in the HyperCard stack (by pressing "Cancel").
• HELP: Provides information on configuring your hard disk, viewing presentations, ordering literature and more.
• SEARCH: Speeds accessing materials with keyword-driven queries.
• BACK: Takes the user up a hierarchical level within the HyperCard stack, or back from where the user was last.
• ARROWS: The user can scroll through the contents in each section (at the same hierarchical level) by using the right or left arrow buttons.
• MAP: Takes the user directly to the Map (the 'Hub' of the CD).
LOCALIZED BUTTONS:
Localized buttons are buttons that correspond to the synopsis card the user is currently viewing. Localized buttons include:
• SEARCH: Provides a list of keywords. Click on a keyword and a list of related materials will appear in the right-hand column. Click a presentation or demo title to go to that item.
For a listing of materials new to Version 6.0, click on the button
"What's New" at the bottom of the Map.
• VIEW/SCRIPT: Will launch the user into the files referenced on the corresponding synopsis card.
